Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Info Session for F-1 Students

Are you an F-1 student planning on working off campus during this semester? Join us for a virtual info session to learn about Curricular Practical Training (CPT)! CPT is a work authorization available to F-1 students to engage in paid or unpaid training opportunities off campus. The training must be an integral or important part of your program’s curriculum. CPT is only available to F-1 students during their program, and cannot be used after the completion of the program. Come learn about the process and ask questions!
On-Campus Employment Info Session for F-1 & J-1 Students

The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS), Human Resources (HR), and the International Tax Office (ITO) will host an informational overview for F-1 and J-1 On-Campus Employment. Students can learn about finding an on-campus job, immigration regulations for on-campus employment, the student hiring process, and how to apply for a social security card and other necessary documentation to start their employment successfully.

Post-Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) is an opportunity for hands-on work experience in the U.S. related to your program of study after your program ends. Come learn a basic overview of the process including application timeline, required fees, and the documents you will need!
Optional Practical Training (OPT) I-765 Walkthrough for F-1 Students

F-1 students, come learn how to fill out the I-765 Online! The I-765 is the form you must complete with USCIS in order to apply for OPT. During this event, we will break down each section of the online application and provide information on what considerations you should make before filing.
