About

Our Office

We are specialists in F-1, J-1, H-1B, and TN immigration issues. We are trained in intercultural communication and cultural adjustment and have experience helping international students and scholars have the best experience possible while at Tulane University.

Our Community

The primary community we serve are individuals at Tulane in F, J, H, and TN status along with their families. We also welcome anyone who identifies as international (such as international students sponsored by Fulbright or dependents of people in other visa categories) to reach out so we can be of support.

Our Work

OISS assists Tulane’s international community with immigration, cultural adjustment, academic integration, professional growth, and personal support. We oversee orientation and arrival, regulatory compliance, immigration services, sponsor services and programming. We also work with departments as they admit, hire, or receive international students and scholars.

Our staff's decades of combined experience help us to be a resource for any and all questions you may have.
