TU & You is an ongoing orientation series introducing international students to important ideas and concepts to prepare them for success at Tulane. The program will also connect students to various departments on campus that can help them succeed in their academic and personal life here. Throughout the program, students will become familiar with best practices for navigating New Orleans, managing their mental health, and more.
This series is hosted by the Office of International Students and Scholars and the NTC Center for Global Education.

Communication Etiquette and Technologies with The NTC Center for Global Education

Join us for our first TU & You event of the semester! This first session will help new students understand email communication and basic technology in academics. If you have any concerns about how to email your professors or use Tulane technology systems, we encourage you to join us!
Academics at Tulane with NTC Office of Academic Integrity and the Academic Learning and Tutoring Center

Academic success is at the core of being a student at Tulane. Join us for our second event of the Spring 2025 semester, where we will meet two offices that can support you on your academic journey at Tulane! You will have a chance to meet with staff members of the Academic Learning and Tutoring Center who will discuss resources, services, and more. We will also discuss academic integrity, which is a very important part of U.S. academic culture. An NTC Office of Academic Integrity representative will lead a discussion on the importance of academic integrity in U.S. culture and how to follow the Code of Academic Conduct. Food and light refreshments will be provided.
Health and Safety at Tulane with The Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response and Campus Health

Understanding health and safety resources that are available to you at Tulane will help support your personal wellbeing and help you make informed decisions in case of emergencies. For our last event of the Spring 2025 semester, we will meet two offices that provide valuable resources and services to promote your health and safety. You will have a chance to meet with staff members of The Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response, who will discuss safety resources and how to be prepared for emergencies, and Campus Health, who will discuss their services and T-SHIP insurance. Food and light refreshments will be provided.
