Join OISS for Coffee & Conversation! This event series is designed to provide you with a relaxed environment to have themed conversations to learn more about New Orleans culture, U.S. culture, and global cultures. Free coffee is provided. All are welcome!
The events are held in at the OISS office at 6901 Willow St. for the Uptown Campus. When you enter the building, enter the conference room on the left across from the front desk!

- Welcome to our Kickoff Coffee and Conversation Event! Meet with other students, learn more about the history of Mardi Gras, and finalize your Mardi Gras plans at this “Coffee and Conversation” series event

- The Crescent City and Conversation
- Learn more about the Crescent City (New Orleans) that you’re living in! In this Coffee and Conversation session, we’ll talk about some exciting festivals and activities close to campus you can enjoy in March!

- Did you Know New Orleans has their own signature coffee? Try Café Au Lait and learn more about New Orleans coffee culture!

- Courtyard Conversation
- Enjoy this outdoor “Coffee and Conversation” session. Listen to some music, kick back and relax with some fun outdoor games while sipping on coffee and eating snacks.
April 9th
- Krewe de Tulane & Conversation
- In this session, participate in “get to know you” events with other students. These interactive activities will allow you to connect with students from all over campus.
