As part of Cybersecurity Month at Tulane, OISS is hosting a public service announcement contest to encourage international students to be informed and not become victims of scams.
Create a short video on any of the topics below and showing how to prevent and what to do if you become a victim of a crime and enter for a chance to win gift cards:

- Rental Scams
- Social Security Scams
- Phone Scams
- USCIS Scams Related to Payment for Special Services
- Imposter Scams

Deadline to submit your video is October 31, 2022 11:59 PM
Submissions will be judged by a panel of ISAB students and the OISS team on creativity and quality of message. Make sure to wear your Tulane gear for extra consideration! The three top videos will win a $50.00 Amazon gift card.
We can’t wait to see what you create!
- Video duration: 30- 60 seconds
- Videos should be shot in portrait mode (vertically).
- Media: individual videos, instagram reels, TikTok videos or anything that can be posted/reposted on OISS instagram page
- Forms: can be live-action, narrated or animated videos
- You can record/edit your videos in TikTok, Instagram, or just the video app on your phone. If you use an app to record your video, you must download the video to your phone and submit it. We do not accept URL links for submissions.
- Video need to include:
- helpful tips on helping students protect themselves from scam
- personal anecdotes, experiences, and stories are welcomed if contestants feel comfortable to share
