Passport Caravan was a huge success!
The Office of Study Abroad, partnered with CIEE, the Council on International Educational Exchange, hosted Passport Caravan in the LBC on February 22nd. After months of recruitment and planning, OSA was able to help over 100 Tulane students apply for their very first passports! Since having a US Passport is one of the major steps to being able to study abroad, we are thrilled that these students are now weeks away from being able to get on a plane and leave the country for the very first time. Visit our Passport Caravan page to read about the event.
Passport Caravan is a CIEE-initiative. The organization travels to campuses across the country, partnering with study abroad offices to recruit applicants and fund passport fees for students who have never before had a passport. This program helps knock out one of the hurdles that may prevent a student from having a life-changing international experience!
Our resident videographer was at the event, capturing footage all day. Check out the video below!
